We rented a cabin/house in Pinetop/Lakeside last week. Here are some photos from the drive there…sorry if you’ve already seen some of them on FB.

Wind turbine blades? We are pretty sure that’s what they are.
Those puppies have got to cost a small fortune to make, transport and install. They offered us a quick opportunity to talk about alternative energy sources and tied in nicely with the trip to Hoover Dam that same day.
Almost there.
We talked about what it must have been like to be dangling over the edges, so high up, building something so massive. How terrifying yet exciting it must have been to work on the enormous project.
The views were amazing.
We were pleasantly surprised to find the residents Hoover Dam were posing for photos on the way out.
We scared all but one of these Big Horn Sheep away.
