Mother’s Day

I had a good one!

Jeremia picked these out.  Aren’t they pretty?

I had mentioned the day before that I wanted a “not too big” pool.

It’s the perfect size!  They can splash and swim (in circles) and stand without the water being too high.  Der bought me a chair raft.  I make the kids go elsewhere and I sit and float and have some quiet time just for me.

I also got Just Dance 2!  Can we say a-d-d-i-c-t-e-d?  What a great thing to like to do!

And finally for months I have been whining that I need a comfy way to carry water when we go for walks.  I like having my hands free.  I now am the proud owner of an awesome water toting fanny pack.  I never thought I would ever willingly own one, but comfort beats cool in my book 9 out of 10 times.

One of the souvenirs we brought back for the boys was this awesome chair hammock.

They have to share it, but don’t seem to mind. They
love it and as an added bonus it makes for really cute pictures.

Conrad loves giving himself bunny ears.  Goofball!

What handsome boys. It’s funny, when I was a kid I swore I would never get married, never have kids. Now they are my world.  That and my new fanny pack serveas a reminder to me that we as humans are allowed to change our minds and I give thanks for that!

That hammock is awesome! And you’re right! Those are some great Pics! Im glad you had a great mother’s day!

  2. Poor Der. When he was hanging it, he first tried bike hooks. He sat in it to test it for safety and nearly broke his butt when he came crashing down. To add insult to injury, all I could do was laugh so no sympathy from me.
Thanks for the kinds words and support! Can’t wait to see you this weekend!

Leave a comment, it will make my day...I swear, I truly am that easy to please!
