Oh The Possibilities

What shall I make with my latest finds?

So many possibilities.

When I spotted a cool metal tackle box, I was happy.  When I opened it and found all of these cool doohickies I was elated.  When they sold the whole thing to me for $1 I was over-the-moon.

Der tells me they are diodes.  All I see is potential.

I dug through a bucket of old camera gear for all of these lens filters.  I was nervous I would dig them all out and then wouldn’t like the price they named.  I was thrilled when I got them for 25¢ each.

I have a ton of ideas.  I just need to pick one and run with it.

Vintage photo stuff is the bomb!

I should really ground myself from the thrift store until I get some of my project ideas made, but I don’t want to miss anything.

but if you ground yourself, then you won’t have what you need when you’re inspired to make something amazing, so i say-buy away!:)

  2. I love the way you think Paula!

I agree w/paula. Besides, $1.25 is painless and the “possibilities” are in fact endless. You have a good eye and some serious luck @ thrift stores! Your pics of the “vintage photo stuff” are pretty cool and you haven’t even gotten started yet.

    • Thanks Ma. It looks like luck because I only post the stuff I find. I don’t post the hours I spend looking before I find the perfect whatever. I walk a fine line because I love to thrift but I hate clutter.

I need to go thrift shopping with you. In the past couple months you have more cool treasures than I have in 30+ (ahem 7) years.

    The filters are awesome!

    • Haha. The embarrassing truth, Olivia, is that I go to at least one thrift store 2 or 3 times a week. Some Saturdays that’s all Der and I do. I can go 10 times and find nothing, but on the 11th time hit the motha load.
